Despite being in a class entitled “Art, Design, and Digital Culture,” I am sort of against the technological age. I understand that technology is super useful, and I use it every day, but when I do I feel like a hypocrite. I particularly don’t like the mixing of technology and art. For me, art is a physical, tactile process that makes me feel like more of a human. Digital art removes all that. This article I just read about the Sao Paolo Biennale that discussed how  “folk art and craft-based practices [are] often seen as an antidote to digital culture and social media.” I really agree with this sentiment and try to integrate it into my art/life.
